How do I get my Playstation 2 HDD hard disk appears in the menu again after his death?
I use it for Final Fantasy XI and have never had a problem with that, I downloaded the monthly update tonight and told me to restart after reboot Hard disk no longer appears in the menu screen. It is as if the last day of his disappearance. I am very practical, how can I solve this problem?
This problem happened with my PS2 also in a previous update ... My solution was very easy in my situation ... I almost deleted the network card and took the hard disk the PS2 (PS2 unplugged all cables and grounded to prevent Static damage to myself on the hard drive, of course) uses some compressed air to clean the internal disk is placed in orbit safely. I fed the PS2 again after dismantling and parts already on the hard drive icon appeared again in the menu screen. The only thing compressed air was something just because I did .. dusty, but the concept of the solution was disconnect and reconnect the drive and the system would read the new material.
